We look like white trash!!

as you know my wonderful christian buddies next door have decided to kick us out of the parsonage at their first opportunity. we have been dealing with that and have since found a small home to move into for very cheap - yeah God!!!! anyways, since that wonderful morning that we were informed of our situation the grass has continued to grow. now for the past year and possibly more the church grass has all been mowed at the time of mowing...however, since last week the grass infront of the parsonage has either learned how to duck underneath the blades on the mower or they are no longer mowing it. their is a nice line where they have stopped. the grass infront of the church looks great and behind the parsonage looks great...but infront looks like white trash (or dub-t for you folks who are up to the lingo) but i live down stairs and therefore don't look at the front yard...i look at the back!!!!

so i have a few options here-
  1. mow the yard with my "p.o.s." mower
  2. leave it alone and pretend i am walking through the amazon rain forest when i go to my car.
  3. take some "round up" and write "Mow Me" in the lawn (i prefer to think of this as a play on words for "blow me" - haha funny)
number 3 sounds the best...but i think i will probably just go with number 2...maybe i'll pee on the lawn before we leave, that'll show them!!!!

Great News

So i get back from a week long of high school camp...which went really well...I am awaken sunday morning by my door bell. I figure it is someone from the church next door wanting to get it so i ignore it (if you wonder why i ignore it i'll explain if you ask) I get in the shower and for the next 5 minutes i continuously hear my door bell ring. I get out of the shower and am about to rip someones head off but it doesn't ring again. this time it is my phone. So i check the number and it is the "new" pastor of the Camas Nazarene church.

He asks if i can talk with him and i say yes and it turns out he is the one who was doorbell crazy. i asked him if he was the one and he admited it. so long story short he gave me a letter telling me that we have till the 25th of july to be out of our house.

i reminded him that we have a 2 week old baby and his reply was that he was also under the impression that our insurance didn't pay for the pregnancy and birth...which wasn't true...however, they thought it was and they are still going to kick us out.

please pray for sarah and I as we try and figure out what the heck we are going to do. Sarah got a part time teaching job but that doesn't start till the school year. so we are looking for a place to hold us over for about 3-4 months and then we can hopefully look to buy something.

aren't christians great!!!
