new job description... I.T.

though i do not claim to be a good website builder i have been learning. I have been using dreamweaver and have been working on the site for the church. There is much work to do but it should be fun.

an EMT's job is never done

went to TGIFridays yesterday after church. yeah, some guy decided to pass out while he was eating with his parents and his daughter. "Somebody, Help!" she screamed. i went over and he was passed out but he was breathing- well snoring is more like it. then the snoring stopped!!! great i am going to have to give this man CPR. i started to pull him out of his chair and the manager tells me not to move him. "he's not breathing" i said "we're going down." once i got him to the floor he started seizing. "i told everyone to let him seize and we'll just protect his head." so he had a seizure for about 3-5 seconds and then BAMB - he sat up and took in a huge breath. he was awake and could answer all my questions like nothing had happened. though he had no recolection of what just happened. so we got him into a chair and he sat there pale and clamy until the Paramedics came. once they got there i went back to my table and started eating. then the manager came over and was so thankful because he had no idea what to do and that i just kind of took over. he then took care of our bill and we ate for free. under the reason that he comped the bill he wrote - HERO.

then it turns out that the mother of the guy, who was an older lady, actually goes to the church in vancouver that i had my first interview at- liberty bible. anyways, i think he is going to be alright, but i wonder if he is going to find out that he has diabetes!!

so that was our eventfull time at TGIFridays and our free lunch!!!

BAND aid '05

We did it. We have 6 bands commited to the concert. It should be a killer night.

Concert Time

We are having our first big event with our youth group next month. We are having a benefit concert to raise money to buy christmas gifts for needy children in our area. We need your prayer for this event as we are trying to get a couple of bands and want to have a big turn out so that we can get lots of gifts. Some of the bands include The Blackstones, Hyper Static Union (Hopefully), and Tray Michael. I am working on a few others that hopefully will work out. Please pray for us as we work on this and try to make some kids have a good Christmas.

I need some help with one thing- What to call this event...any suggestions? (this could be interesting)

New Pics

We had our first official Dr appointment yesterday, but we only talked with the nurse. Don't as me why. But we did get another ultra sound and this machine was a bit better than the other one. In these pictures you can see the head, some limbs growing, sort of the spinal cord, the sac the baby is growing in, and something called the yolk sac. It is that cicular thing on the right side of the baby. It is giving it all the nutirents and stuff like that for the time being. You can also see it's brain forming - the dark spot in the middle of the head is the brain. We even saw the thing move. The lady wasn't moving the ultra sound thing and the baby was squirming around. This is pretty nuts...
