I have lots to learn!!

Why does it always seem like life is in constant chaos? I am beginning to wonder if from the day you are born to the day you die if God doesn't allow things to ever settle. Just when you think, "we're almost to a place in life where we will be able to breathe a little bit." BAMM!!! Something happens and things are now back to where the were before...chaos.

Sarah and I are asking for prayer...I know each one of you out there has issues and situations to deal with...infact I bet you do because again it seems like life is a constant state of chaos. As you know I am going back to school to become a paramedic and hopefully get a job at a fire department. It will be a sweet gig and we will be able to "breathe a bit." YEAH RIGHT!!! so Sarah was going to teach full time next year and everything looked like it was going to happen and BAM...the lady who was going to take the year off decided she wasn't after she had already told sarah she was. So we are trying to search for that again, because we need that job so I can take my classes.

Then as some of you know I have been thrusted into a position at my church called "lead pastor" that's right, I am the main cheese for our church. it isn't much of a church in the way of large numbers and programs. We meet in a school and are making progress. But it is a church that wants to be young and relevant but fights it every step of the way!!! anyways, I have that responsibility for the next couple of months and it is just another BAMM in our life that wasn't expected and yet seems to be something that God is allowing.

So I go back to I think God doesn't allow life to chill out on purpose...he keeps us in a constant state of "what the heck" possibly so that we can get to a state of "whatever, you're in charge". I guess that is what I need to learn!!! And until then He will keep things interesting. But once I do learn that there will be something else that I will say "what the heck" to...and around and around we go...I don't think it will ever stop!!

My Sr Pastor is in the amry and has been sent to colorado for 2 months. that being said you are looking at the head guy for the next couple of months at our church. crazy you say...yes...it is crazy. it should be an interesting few months. and very busy. the best part is that no one knows yet that he has been sent away so I get to tell them today at church...yeah!!!!!

IRS is the best!!!

just filled my taxes...not only did I pay out the @$$ but I got raped by turbo tax as well. See when I started filling a few weeks ago the cost was like 30 bucks to file...and not it was 40!!!! Oh well...if the government didn't take my money I wouldn't have been able to take theirs when Ryan was born.

One step closer

I am one step closer to my goal of being a paramedic. I finished retaking my EMT class a few months ago and am now involved in two things that are required to medic school. One is that I am back in college. That's right, community college is great. Accept Citrus Community College was 11 bucks a unit and Clark Community in Vancouver, WA is like 80. So i am taking Human Biology right now it is quite interesting. usually have class 4 mornings a week, but this week only had it once do to a killer snow storm that we just had. there wasn't any school in the Portland Metro area all week until today...and even today was late start for just about everyone.

The recent news is that pending I pass my physical - cough, cough (if you don't understand the cough thing ask a guy who played sports in high school) I will be a volunteer firefighter for the City of Washougal...thats right...I'll be a hero. This will all help my chances of getting a job as a paramedic in a fire department because of this experience.

so now when jerk offs light fireworks on in the middle of the road I'll have to get my butt out of bed and go pound on doors because stupid security guards think that fireworks in the street equal burning down apartment buildings!!!

First Snow

we just had our first snow of the winter. it didn't last long but it snowed...more to come later tonight!!!! yeah.

Craigslist Rocks

I have bought a thing or two on craigslist but never sold anything...until now...I am a freakin hundredaire now. Since we have moved into our house we now know about the things we need and don't need. So we have been putting things on craigslist and people are contacting me by the 2-3's. Some things aren't so hot but others are sold the minute I put them up there.

Have some crap to sell? Put them on Craigslist and you to could be a hundredaire.
